Recent work earns high marks for responsiveness and fair dealing, but a past incident involving crew supervision and property damage remains on record. Two satisfied long-term clients contrast sharply with one serious safety and accountability lapse.
Based on limited recent reviews, so treat this as low-confidence.
One long-term customer praises their leak repair, siding work, and fair pricing, with staff returning to double-check repairs and leaving the site clean. Another customer reported a leak months after repair, a missed appointment, and hostile communication when trying to follow up.
Not enough recent reviews yet to synthesise a reliable sentiment read for this business.
Gary Herman and his stable crew deliver consistently excellent roof replacements and repairs across Fairfield County. Reviewers praise hand-nailed fastening, immaculate daily cleanup, fair pricing aligned with craftsmanship quality, and Gary's personal involvement in complex details like copper flashing and chimney work. Many of the same crew members have worked together over 20 years, completing projects in three to five days with surgical precision on everything from modern capes to century-old homes. Clients report clear communication, advanced notice before work, respect for property and plantings, and roofs that look new years later.
