Twenty years in, Paul Vartelas and his crew remain hands-on: they show up within hours for estimates, explain upgrades matter (ice-and-water barriers save winters), and stop upselling where others push full replacements. One reviewer's roof leaked post-install; the rest praise skilled work, punctual completion, and genuine follow-up years later when gutters fail or snow sits wrong. Jobs span roof replacement, siding, gutters, and repairs across single-family and commercial applications. Reviewers name technician Dickey, credit Chris (co-owner) for finishing touches, and highlight jobsite cleanliness. Paul personally inspects ice-dam concerns and gutter dropouts months or years after original work, often charging fairly or minimally for unexpected issues rather than treating them as new projects.
Lorenzo and his team arrive when promised and treat properties like their own, working clean and completing jobs the same day when possible. Reviewers consistently praise fair pricing, technical know-how, and the owner's willingness to educate homeowners on maintenance and future work, with particular strength in gutter repair and emergency response after winter weather damage. All 16 available reviews award five stars. No complaints appear in the sample. The business handles everything from same-day air vent leaks to multi-hour roof repairs and gutter cleaning, often responding on holidays and in snow. Their website states coverage across New Haven and Fairfield counties.
Most work from Bustillo Construction (operating as VMB Roofing and Siding) meets or exceeds homeowner expectations. Reviewers consistently praise the team's courtesy, communication, and follow-through on siding, gutter, and roof jobs. Victor Bustillo and his crew explain the process upfront and keep clients informed as work proceeds. Pricing is noted as fair and flexible, with payment options available. The business has completed significant projects across Ansonia and nearby areas, with homeowners returning for follow-up work.
Rooftop Construction earns consistent five-star reviews for roof work across Fairfield and neighboring counties. Reviewers highlight the owners Erion and Besi by name, praising their speed, cleanliness, fair rates, and willingness to explain problems clearly. Installation and repair jobs close smoothly and on schedule with no complaints on record. The team handles roof replacement, metal roofing, flat roof systems, repairs, and gutter work. Reviewers note excellent attention to detail, professional job-site cleanup, and quality outcomes. Deck and siding jobs receive equal praise. All 25 reviews award five stars with no negative feedback reported.
Nick & Nick's delivers swift, hands-on service; owner attends jobs and crew cleans up thoroughly. One older roof failed prematurely, and a receptionist communication lapse left a customer waiting twice.
Every review praises A & K Restoration for speed, cleanliness, and professionalism. Pedro and his crew (including son Anderson) consistently finish jobs in one day, leave yards cleaner than they found them, and manage insurance negotiations so homeowners do not have to. Roof replacements, siding repairs, and chimney work come out polished and leak-free, even through heavy storms.
Silktown Roofing holds a perfect 5-star rating across 7 Google reviews. Review detail is limited, but the universal praise and certification portfolio (NRCA UL ES-1, ANSI/SPRI ES-1 tested) suggest solid capability across repair, replacement, and metal systems.
