Manny Roofing

4.8(151)✓ Google-verified

Staff at Manny Roofing consistently go out of their way to help homeowners understand their roof problems and often refuse payment for small repairs or inspections. Named technicians like Robert, Michael Khan, Luis Rosado, and Byron show up on time, explain the work clearly in plain language, and handle insurance claims with care. The company works across Fairfield, New Haven, and Litchfield counties and handles everything from storm damage to full replacements and gutters. One reviewer waited for a quote that never arrived after two site visits, though the vast majority praise the responsiveness and honesty, particularly when they advise against unnecessary work.

Armor Shield Exteriors

4.7(178)✓ Google-verified

Armor Shield delivers sharp installation work when active on a job, with crews known for speed, cleanliness, and keeping owners in the loop. The core problem: post-job accountability collapses. Multiple owners waited weeks or months for callbacks on leaks after roof replacement, eventually hiring competitors. One client waited over a year after the company cashed an $11,000 insurance check, the house leaked throughout, and the owner reported zero response to refund requests.

Castle Home Restorations

4.9(34)✓ Google-verified

Most customers experience quick dispatch and storm damage roofs completed in a single day, with Dave or his crew handling insurance negotiations that often win full coverage instead of partial fixes. Site cleanup and professional finish are consistent praise points. One recent reviewer reported the owner vanished after an insurance claim was denied, breaking a promise to continue fighting for coverage, leaving them to hire elsewhere. Castle handles residential replacements, commercial flat roofs, emergency tarps, and water damage restoration. Dave and crew names (Sergio, David) appear across reviews spanning a year. The business claims 30 years' experience and operates statewide in Connecticut.
