What recent reviews say
Speed and cleanliness define Preference Construction's reputation. Crews typically finish roof replacements in a single day, leaving yards and driveways spotless. The owner and crew show up early, address structural issues on the fly, and leave no debris behind. However, scheduling responsiveness varies: one customer waited hours with no confirmation after an initial same-day inspection was promised, and another dispute from 2017 involved warranty denial and the owner's refusal to address alleged roofing defects without full replacement cost.
The business handles shingles, gutters, gutter guards, and damage repairs across several services. Staff like Stevenson and Steven receive consistent praise for professionalism, though recent communication lapses on intake and past warranty conflicts warrant caution if fast scheduling or post-installation problem-solving is critical to you.

SST PAINTING & CARPENTRY LLC
4.7(60)✓ Google-verified
Most jobs finish on time with neat work and fair pricing, often led by Iris who stays in touch throughout projects. However, some customers report paint peeling or bubbling within months, with slow response when calling back for fixes, and a few cite unclear estimates that don't account for materials, waste, or prep work. Painting and deck work dominate the positive reviews. The two one-star complaints both mention miscommunication or scope issues. Roofing and metal roofing reviews are absent from the sample, limiting visibility into those services.
