Nearly all customers praise Vinny's crew for polished work, tidy cleanup, and upfront communication about materials and pricing. One incident four years ago involved metal scraps that injured a puppy and paw, though most recent reviews highlight thorough cleanup with magnets and vacuums.
Most customers praise Finestra for fast, professional window installations at competitive prices. Louis, Danny, Wynter, and the installation teams are consistently named as courteous and efficient. However, one reviewer had disappointing pre-sale communication and delayed estimate follow-up, and another found drafts after installation that staff declined to address with insulation, requiring the homeowner to fix it themselves.
All 260 reviews rate this company five stars. Mark, Griffin, Alex, Ryan, Paul, and their crews handle full roof replacements, spot repairs, metal work, and storm damage with consistent professionalism. Homeowners praise fast response times (same-day repairs mentioned), clean sites at day's end, and sales staff who explain options without pressure. Ryan and Mark appear as named points of contact in multiple accounts. Metal roofing gets specific mention for meticulous installation and workmanship. Roof replacements are completed on time, often faster than expected. Neighbors contract based on neighbors' experiences. The business coordinates complex projects including solar panel removal, handles permits, and maintains detailed communication throughout. No negative feedback surfaces in available reviews.
Reviewers describe a reliably coordinated operation where crews arrive promptly, work efficiently through each day, and leave sites clean every evening. Projects like full siding jobs finish on schedule and on budget; roofing replacements resolve long-standing water damage. Staff named include John, Sean, Patrick, and Orlando, each handling their role with evident pride and attention to detail. Communication stands out as consistent, with project managers reachable for questions and willing to address issues like missed nails within days. Homeowners report that higher prices than competitors are justified by quality work, hands-on oversight, and financing options. No structural complaints surface; one minor issue (nails at job end) was resolved promptly after being flagged.
Bartlett Brainard earns trust through consistent professionalism, quick response times, and a commitment to quality that extends even to hidden work. Staff like Cathy, Josh, and Karen are well-known repeat contacts who guide clients through decisions without pushy sales tactics. Roofing, windows, siding, and decking jobs show careful attention to materials and structural integrity. Crews keep job sites clean and respect homeowner property. The rare sour interaction involves a sales consultation that felt more interested in a large contract than solving a smaller repair problem, with weak follow-up afterward.
Most reviewers describe smooth installations backed by a responsive team that handles city inspections and cleanup. Named staff like Adam, Brian, Taylor, and Chadwick appear across multiple five-star reviews for transparent process and quick problem-solving. Two complaints cite installation mistakes and slow compensation, with one customer waiting months for reimbursement despite the company's eventual resolve.
Art, Sergei, and Matt are named repeatedly for turning up on time, working carefully, and leaving the site clean. Customers praise the quality of windows and door installs, clear communication, and a project manager who checks in. One recent complaint stands out: a customer spent eight months trying to get four window replacements right, with fitment failures on three visits and a broken pane. The company's lifetime warranty didn't cover the repair. The business's own website claims Connecticut and Massachusetts licensing, BBB A+ rating, and operation since 1989. Their website advertises a 60% discount on windows, baths, and door installation. Most five-star reviews note they are not the cheapest option, though reviewers often say the quality justifies the price.
Most customers praise RRCA's office coordination, insurance handling, and workmanship quality, particularly Jessica C's responsiveness and crew professionalism. Storm damage and replacement jobs are completed quickly, cleanly, and with careful site management. However, a minority report serious post-repair leaks, retained insurance funds without completing work, and quality control lapses (leftover nails, improper materials). Communication breakdowns occur during the insurance closure phase. These concerns are confined to about 4% of reviews but involve significant financial and structural stakes.
Eastcoast Roofing and Masonry earns strong marks for concrete work, stone patios, and foundation repair. James and Ray are praised for explaining options, delivering fairly priced quotes, and finishing on schedule. One reviewer cited poor parking etiquette and a negative demeanor, but this stands apart from the broader pattern of reliable, communicative service.
Five-star reviews praise staff like Tyler and James for informative estimates and professional manners. Recent one-star accounts allege dramatically inflated quotes, unsupervised crews causing damage, unfinished work, and resistance to repairs after town inspection failures.
Both available Google reviews award five stars. Their website lists 35 years in business, CT licensure (MCO.0904135), and Duro-Last certification. Review count is limited, so this profile reflects what the evidence supports rather than broad experience.
One five-star reviewer hired Connecticut's Handyman for multiple winter jobs and praised the quality of work, suggesting they would use the company again.
