Duration Exteriors earned a perfect five-star rating across 35 reviews by delivering consistent execution and emotional support through the roof replacement and insurance process. Reviewers consistently praise Neil Mulligan and the crew for guiding them through confusing insurance claims, completing full roof replacements in a single day, and leaving properties immaculate. Fair pricing, advance coordination with weather conditions, and follow-up walks after job completion build trust that extends beyond the repair itself.
Alex and his team handle multiple home projects-roofing, siding, gutters, decks, windows-with consistent professionalism and care. Every review mentions clean jobsites, transparent communication, and owner presence; customers report finishing early or on schedule, often with fewer surprises than quotes suggested, and returning for additional work. The work spans vinyl and metal siding, roof replacement, gutter installation, window and door replacement, soffit work, and deck repairs. Reviewers with construction experience specifically praise the craftsmanship. Projects finish within days to two weeks. Alex oversees estimates personally, follows up weeks later, and explains decisions clearly.

Customers describe respectful job sites, prompt communication, and workmanship that exceeds expectations. No complaints appear in the reviews.
Reviewers consistently report fast arrival and responsive service from named staff members like Teresita, Jose, and John, who are praised for courtesy and thorough cleanup of water and mold damage. One significant complaint involved inadequate fan maintenance during a two-week job, resulting in additional water damage; the homeowner switched to a competitor who resolved it faster without further harm. The business handles residential basement floods, pack-outs, and commercial mold remediation through weekend and holiday calls. Staff are frequently noted by name and commended for ease of dealing with insurance claims. A contractor who regularly subcontracts with ServPro describes them as hard workers and good communicators.
Steve Dumas and his crew consistently deliver on time, communicate clearly, and finish jobs to a high standard with meticulous cleanup. Homeowners consistently experience fast, thorough service and detailed updates from Corey's team. Work gets done in a single day on complex roofs, sites stay clean, and staff explain materials and progress clearly. One customer's roof from 2007 has held through two decades with zero leaks. The crew handles emergency ice-dam leaks within 24 hours and even moves back decorations before leaving. Strong crews and individual project managers (Zach, Joe, Jesse) earn consistent praise for on-time work, clean sites, and willingness to fix issues during the job. However, several customers report unresponsive management after completion, installation mistakes requiring correction, debris left behind, damaged landscaping, and significant leaks or performance problems emerging months later. Communication breakdowns worsen the experience when customers try to address warranty concerns. The company excels at sales promises and initial execution but struggles with follow-through accountability. Problems range from minor (broken gutter hangers, drip edge concerns) to major (roofs leaking at 18 months, mysteriously bulging sections, downspouts clogged with construction debris). Customers emphasize documenting everything in writing before signing and inspecting the work closely during installation.

Named staff including Dave, Jaime, and crew members like Edgar and Edward handle daily operations. Most jobs complete on schedule after one-day site visits.

Most customers experience reliable, communicative service and finished work that looks polished and professional. The crew shows up on time, keeps sites clean daily, and stands behind mistakes-even major ones like misaligned EPDM roofing or Trex boards. Two reviewers flagged premium pricing on smaller jobs and one reported messy demolition, unclear specs, and communication breakdowns on a larger renovation, though site workers themselves performed well. Tom, Jonathan, Jeff, and Mark appear repeatedly as responsive points of contact who walk customers through options and track progress closely. The business handles warranty claims on old siding and replaces damaged materials at no extra charge. Roofing, siding, gutters, sunrooms, and kitchen/bathroom remodels are the main work; some jobs take months to source materials upfront.
Most customers praise Royal Roofing's speed and professionalism. Elvis, John, Justin, and crew members are repeatedly named for clear explanations, timely work, and respectful communication. One reviewer reported serious concerns about door-to-door solicitation and inadequate disclosure of insurance claim consequences, leading to policy cancellation and substantial financial harm. The business consistently delivers roof replacements within days to a week, keeps jobsites clean, and handles storm damage and insurance coordination. Named coordinators like John and field staff including Edward maintain contact throughout projects. Metal and shingle roofing are completed to stated timelines, though the single critical complaint raises red flags about sales practices and informed consent.

Reviewers highlight quick response times, clear communication that avoids upselling, and skilled execution on everything from residential repairs to commercial leaks and storm damage. One significant complaint centers on incomplete finishing work, damaged security cameras, and poor follow-up when finishing details (caulking, trim) fell short, which overshadowed an otherwise solid siding job. The business serves broad areas across central Connecticut and claims over 35 years in operation. Multiple reviews praise Tony and crew member Eliza by name for professionalism and flexibility. Standout strengths include handling complex jobs like roofs with solar panels in winter conditions and resolving long-standing commercial leaks others had failed to fix. The single negative experience underscores the risk of incomplete work and delayed follow-through on smaller finishing items.

Positive reviews praise Jordan Bernstein, Brad Sedito, and the team for fair pricing, responsive communication, and fast installations that often beat promised timelines. System design and installation quality receive consistent praise. Four critical reviews highlight serious problems: non-functional solar systems months after install with no follow-up, aggressive door-to-door tactics that led to police involvement, messy job sites, and uncoordinated work resulting in missed utility notifications and inspector re-approvals. The gap between promised and delivered support after purchase stands out as the core complaint. One reviewer faced six months without proper follow-up on a system that didn't meet original specifications. However, satisfied customers consistently name specific staff members and note being prioritized throughout their projects.

Staff like Cathy, Josh, and Karen are well-known repeat contacts who guide clients through decisions without pushy sales tactics. This scattered across 109 reviews suggests isolated breakdown rather than pattern, but warrants care on warranty clarity upfront.

A separate complaint cited repeated delays (two-hour wait despite appointments) and defensive texts when reviewed. Most reviewers rank the work and communication highly, but these conflicts suggest stakes matter. Praise focuses on Sonny Mitchell's direct manner, availability (including Saturday emergency ice dam calls), and crew professionalism.
